What data we process
Browsing data
When you visit the site, the hosting service automatically logs some technical data, such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page visited and your browser type. This is used only to run the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use it to identify or profile you.
Data you give us
If you call or email us, we process the data you provide (for example your name, contact details and a description of your request) to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a quote.
Cookies
This site does not use profiling or analytics cookies and does not install any tracking tools, which is why there is no cookie banner. Fonts are hosted on the site itself and are not loaded from external services.
The link to our head office opens Google Maps in a new tab; from that point Google's privacy policy applies.
Purposes and legal basis
- Running and securing the website: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Replying to requests for information and quotes: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention
Browsing data is kept by the hosting provider only as long as needed for the security of the service. Request data is kept as long as needed to handle the request and, if a contract follows, for the periods required by law (for example for tax purposes).
Who we share data with
We do not sell or publish your data. It may be processed by the providers who help us run the website and email (hosting and email services), acting as data processors. The hosting provider may be based outside the European Union; in that case transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). To exercise these rights, email info@macchipaolo.it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
